Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Engineering team. This role is essential to the upkeep and presentation of our luxury property, ensuring all decorative finishes reflect the quality and care our guests expect.

The role: As a Painter and Decorator, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all decorative finishes throughout the hotel. This includes painting, specialist finishes, woodwork, and minor carpentry and furniture repairs. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, you will support both planned works and reactive requests, always delivering work that meets Four Seasons standards for quality, safety, and attention to detail.

What you will do:

  • Carry out painting and decorating work across guest rooms, public areas, and back of house
  • Maintain specialist paint finishes, wood finishes, and decorative surfaces
  • Undertake minor carpentry, building, and furniture repairs as required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and neatly, with minimal disruption to guests
  • Follow safe working practices, health and safety procedures, and risk assessments
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering and wider hotel teams
  • Maintain a professional approach and high standard of workmanship at all times

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, ideally within a luxury hotel or high quality commercial environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of decorative finishes and repairs consistent with a five star standard
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and health and safety requirements
  • A reliable, flexible, and team focused approach
  • Strong communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English
  • Flexibility with working hours to support hotel operations
  • Right to Work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role

Schedule and hours: This is a full time, 40-hour per week role, typically consisting of Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement to work overnight to complete project work.
