This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar).

The Hotel Technician role: This role assists the Engineering Department in general maintenance duties throughout the hotel. Ability to carry out high quality repairs in an efficient and safe manner. Working with both Guest areas and Back of House carrying out repairs to equipment, fixtures and fittings and plant as deemed necessary, depending on skill level.

The ideal Hotel Technician will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 5 star luxury environment
  • The technical knowledge and expertise to provide electrical and general repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers and associated equipment throughout the hotel
  • An awareness of safe working practices
  • Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team
  • Strong communication skills with a good level of written and spoken English
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours – includes shift working
