This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar).

The Junior Sous Chef role
The Junior Sous Chef role:
We are looking for a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our Main Kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class culinary operation and contribute to the exceptional dining experiences that Four Seasons is renowned for.
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will hold a key leadership position within the kitchen, working closely with the Sous Chefs and Executive Sous Chef to oversee preparation and ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and play an active role in training and development.
Please note: This role is expected to commence in early February 2026.
What You’ll Do
Supervise and support the Main Kitchen team in daily operations
Lead and motivate team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to Four Seasons standards
Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation excellence
Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for your team
Control labour and operating costs through effective planning and inventory management
Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Pastry Team on menu development and innovation
Maintain compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, COSHH)
Be visible in the operation, engaging with guests when required and handling special requests
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure smooth coordination across departments
What You Bring
A passion for luxury hospitality and an eye for detail
Culinary school education or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position
Advanced culinary knowledge and strong technical skills
Excellent knife skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Good command of English
A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork
