About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate, engaging, and experienced Food & Beverage Trainer to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and inspiring our Food & Beverage colleagues to consistently deliver exceptional five-star service experiences across all dining outlets. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Food & Beverage operator from a luxury hotel, resort, or premium hospitality environment who has a passion for developing people and is looking to take the next step into a learning and development focused career. What You Will Do:

  • Deliver engaging induction and onboarding programmes for all new Food & Beverage employees, ensuring a positive and structured introduction to the business.
  • Train and coach colleagues on five-star luxury service standards, ensuring consistency across all Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Develop and facilitate practical and classroom-based training programmes for new and existing team members.
  • Monitor service delivery and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and support to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct service observations and skills assessments to identify training needs and development opportunities.
  • Create and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, service guides, and training records.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to support succession planning, talent development, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Train employees on product knowledge, menu offerings, upselling techniques, and guest engagement skills.
  • Support the launch of new concepts, menus, promotions, and operational standards through effective training delivery.
  • Champion a culture of learning, recognition, and service excellence throughout the Food & Beverage division.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with health, safety, food hygiene, and company standards.
  • Track training completion rates and provide regular reporting on learning and development activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory, management, training, or learning and development role within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • A thorough understanding of five-star Food & Beverage service standards and guest expectations.
  • A genuine passion for coaching, developing people, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable style.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes and learning initiatives.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
  • Confidence in providing performance feedback, coaching, and mentoring colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and learning management or training systems.
  • A proactive, energetic, and solutions-focused approach to learning and development.
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts and operational areas as required.
