About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for cleanliness, organisation, and luxury hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Management team in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support housekeeping colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring operational efficiency, quality standards, and excellent service delivery throughout the hotel. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and immaculate environment for guests and colleagues alike.
What you will do:
- Supervise the daily activities of the Housekeeping team, ensuring all assigned duties are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
- Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to housekeeping colleagues.
- Allocate daily work assignments and monitor productivity throughout each shift.
- Ensure guest requests and special room requirements are fulfilled promptly and professionally.
- Support the management of room status updates and coordinate effectively with Front Office and Engineering teams.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, following up to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with inventory management, including linen, guest supplies, amenities, and cleaning equipment.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including inspection reports and shift handovers.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives within the department.
- Handle guest concerns relating to housekeeping services with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
- Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all times.
- Promote a positive team culture while motivating colleagues to achieve departmental goals and service excellence.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
