About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for cleanliness, organisation, and luxury hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Management team in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support housekeeping colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring operational efficiency, quality standards, and excellent service delivery throughout the hotel. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and immaculate environment for guests and colleagues alike.

What you will do:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the Housekeeping team, ensuring all assigned duties are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
  • Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to housekeeping colleagues.
  • Allocate daily work assignments and monitor productivity throughout each shift.
  • Ensure guest requests and special room requirements are fulfilled promptly and professionally.
  • Support the management of room status updates and coordinate effectively with Front Office and Engineering teams.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with inventory management, including linen, guest supplies, amenities, and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including inspection reports and shift handovers.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives within the department.
  • Handle guest concerns relating to housekeeping services with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all times.
  • Promote a positive team culture while motivating colleagues to achieve departmental goals and service excellence.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and hands-on leadership style.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
  • Confidence in handling guest interactions and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in line with operational requirements.
