About the Role: We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Casual Equestrian Assistant to join our team. This flexible role is ideal for someone passionate about horses who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a supportive yard environment. You will help with the day‑to‑day care of horses and upkeep of the yard, ensuring high standards of welfare, safety, and organisation are maintained at all times.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the day‑to‑day care of horses, including feeding, grooming, and mucking out
  • Help prepare horses for riding or exercise (tacking up and untacking)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of stables, yard, and equipment
  • Turn horses out and bring them in safely
  • Monitor horse wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Clean and maintain tack and yard equipment
  • Support riders, trainers, and visitors in a professional and helpful manner
  • Assist with general yard duties to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Follow all health, safety, and yard procedures.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Some equestrian experience is preferred but not essential
