About the role: We’re seeking a motivated and talented Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive culinary environment. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen brigade to prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.
What you will do:
- Support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and service of high-quality dishes
- Take responsibility for a designated section when required, ensuring consistent standards are maintained
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in line with recipes and presentation standards
- Monitor portion control and minimise food waste
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie within a professional kitchen
- A genuine passion for food and high-quality culinary standards
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
