Our client is an Italian artisanal footwear brand specialising in women's ballet flats within the contemporary luxury market. Defined by craftsmanship, timeless design, and understated elegance, the brand caters to a sophisticated international clientele. With a rapidly expanding global e-commerce presence, the brand is continuing its international growth with the opening of its new King's Road boutique in London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Assistant to join the opening team of the new boutique on Kings Road. In the role, you play a key role in delivering an elevated client experience while supporting all aspects of boutique operations.

The Role

  • Deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience, including styling, fitting, payment, packaging and CRM sign-ups
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service at every touch point
  • Support the day-to-day running of the boutique, including solo coverage when required
  • Assist with e-commerce operations including order processing, dispatch, quality control, and returns
  • Manage stock deliveries, replenishment, tagging and organisation of the stockroom
  • Support visual merchandising initiatives, including in-store CRM communications
  • Assist with cash handling and daily sales reporting
  • Support in-store events and client engagement activities
  • Ensure the boutique is maintained to the highest operational and visual standards
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Demonstrate flexibility during peak trading periods and brand events

About you

  • Previous experience within luxury or premium retail
  • Strong passion for fashion, footwear, and elevated client services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Natural ability to build rapport and deliver a consultative selling approach
  • Commercially driven with confidence working towards KPIs and sales targets
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with the brand aesthetic and values
  • Fluent in English required; additional languages are highly advantageous
