The Role

As a Luxury Host, you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming and seamless experience for every customer entering a prestigious retail environment. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring visitors receive attentive, professional service that reflects the brand's values.

• Welcome customers warmly and professionally, creating an exceptional first impression.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers, offering assistance and directing them to the appropriate departments or team members.
• Manage customer flow across the store, ensuring visitors receive timely and attentive service.
• Support queue management during busy trading periods, launches, events and peak hours.
• Coordinate customer appointments and communicate effectively with sales associates to ensure a seamless experience.
• Identify customer needs and ensure they are connected with the appropriate sales associate or specialist.
• Maintain a polished and professional presence at the store entrance, reception or designated welcome area.
• Provide clear information about store services, collections, appointments and customer facilities.
• Assist with customer enquiries, ensuring all interactions are handled courteously and efficiently.
• Support the wider team with special events, VIP visits and other in-store activities where required.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards across the entrance and customer-facing areas.
• Represent prestigious luxury brands with confidence, discretion and a strong understanding of elevated customer service.

About You

• Previous experience in luxury retail, hospitality, front of house or a customer-facing role is essential.
• Experience within a premium or luxury brand environment is highly desirable.
• A natural ability to welcome, engage and communicate confidently with a diverse range of customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, professional manner.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage customer flow during busy periods.
• Confident handling enquiries and adapting your approach to different customer needs.
• A proactive, approachable and service-driven attitude.
• Impeccable personal presentation and an understanding of luxury service standards.
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a high-performing team.
• Flexible and available to work across weekdays, weekends and peak trading periods.
• London-based or able to travel easily across London.
