Four Seasons Recruitment are working with a contemporary womens fashion brand, who are in need of an interim Production Manager, for 2 months commencing 1st June. This role ensures all production activities align with the company's commercial objectives, quality standards, and critical path deadlines.
About the Role:
- Manage and monitor the full production critical path in line with company timelines and deadlines
- Plan seasonal unit projections and oversee the pre-booking of factory production capacity
- Lead the management of factory schedules, production tracking, and delivery timelines
- Review, approve and place all bulk fabric and trim orders, coordinating logistics with internal teams
- Negotiate manufacturing and material costs, maintaining target margins and business profitability
- Monitor operational costs and margins throughout development and production, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure product quality aligns with the brand's aesthetic and technical standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth transitions between development, production, and delivery stages
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury apparel production
- Proven ability to manage multi-product categories within luxury apparel
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production management systems
