Four Seasons Recruitment are partnered with a beautiful luxury, sustainable womenswear brand that specialises in feminine garments. This fashion forward brand is looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to provide support across the growing Technical team.
The Role:
- Assisting with quality checks and measuring of samples against the Tech Pack
- Conduct quality control checks at the warehouse
- Review and assess garment and fabric test reports
- Writing up comments, providing admin support
- Ensure accurate comments are communicated to suppliers to ensure the next sample is as expected
- Prepare pre-production packages (BOM management)
- Liaise with factories regarding spec requirements and PPS approvals
- Assist with creating/ preparing sample and production tech packs
About you:
- 3 years in a similar role, some knowledge of Tailoring would be desirable
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of garment fitting and fitting issues is essential
- Experience in updating and managing Tech Packs / Production Packs
- A thorough understanding of grading and grade rules
