We are seeking a friendly and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Grays, Thurrock, United Kingdom. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers in the Essex and Kent areas.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' homes or businesses
- Plan and optimise delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
- Work available Monday to Sunday
- Full time (working at least one day over the weekend)
- Load time - 20-25 minutes
- Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Up to 6 days max per 7 day working week
- Shell fuel card provided
- 11 days on road training provided with full pay

- Driving responsibly to ensure Van is in good working condition
- Being able to get in and out of vans
- Ability to lift up to 23kg
Qualifications:
- Valid UK or EU driving licence with max 6 points, No active IN, DR or TT codes
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Proficiency in using GPS and route planning tools
- Good physical fitness, able to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
- Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Means of commuting to and from work
- Good written and spoken English
- Delivery experience with Amazon, Ocado group, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Evri (preferred)
What we offer:
£130- £156 a day
Up to 6 days max per 7 day working week
