Overview

Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is seeking a Painter Decorator to join our Engineering team.

This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys maintaining high standards across a luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting and decorating works across guest rooms, public spaces, back of house areas, and facilities
  • Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, priming, and finishing to a high standard
  • Complete repairs to walls, ceilings, woodwork, tiles, and decorative finishes
  • Support minor vinyl, tiling, and surface restoration works where required
  • Ensure all work is completed with exceptional attention to detail and presentation
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organised manner
  • Identify maintenance issues and communicate them to the Engineering team
  • Support preventative maintenance programmes across the hotel
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to minimise disruption to guests and operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Painter Decorator within a hotel, commercial, or luxury environment
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, and decorative finishes
  • Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance works to a high standard
  • Good understanding of materials, products, and finishing techniques
  • Trade apprenticeship or recognised training in painting and decorating is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • What to expect

Full time position working 40 hours per week.

Typically, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm; there is one to two Saturdays per month based on business needs.

Occasional out of hours work may be required to support maintenance projects and minimise disruption to hotel operations.
