We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Head Waiter / Waitress to join our team and help shape a world-class dining destination in the heart of London. With a focus on quality ingredients, bold flavours, and warm, intuitive service, this is more than just a place to eat; it’s a place to experience.
About the role:
As a Head Waiter, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly. You’ll lead by example, delivering highly efficient and effective service while maintaining the highest standards of guest comfort and safety. You’ll support the Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations and help maximise food and beverage sales through personalised service and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver confident, engaging service and lead the team during service periods
- Lead a section of the restaurant
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Support the Assistant Manager with daily operations and team supervision
- Anticipate guest needs and personalise each interaction
- Maintain a polished, professional presence and uphold Four Seasons standards
- Assist with training and mentoring junior team members
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter or senior server in a luxury or high-end restaurant
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and attention to detail
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- The Right to Work in the UK
Schedule and hours:
- This is a full-time position, contracted at 40 hours per week
- Earliest start time will be 6am, and the latest finish will be around 1am
- The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends
