About the role: We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and visionary Executive Pastry Chef to lead our talented pastry team at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. As a key member of the hotel’s culinary leadership, you will oversee all pastry and dessert operations across our restaurants, lounges, banqueting, in‐room dining and special events. You will be responsible for crafting innovative menus, elevating pastry standards, and ensuring every creation reflects the artistry, precision and luxury synonymous with the Four Seasons brand.

What you will do:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the pastry department, ensuring world‐class pastry and dessert standards across all dining outlets and events.
  • Oversee staffing, training, development and performance management for the pastry team, nurturing future talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Create, develop and execute seasonal, innovative and visually stunning pastry menus aligned with the Four Seasons brand.
  • Manage departmental budgets, food costs, labour planning and inventory efficiently and responsibly.
  • Drive continuous improvement through recipe development, production planning, quality checks and operational refinement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, restaurant leaders, banqueting, F&B service teams and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Uphold Four Seasons’ high standards of presentation, craftsmanship and guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, hygiene and food safety regulations, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation within the pastry kitchen.
  • Address guest feedback professionally, tailoring services and creations to exceed expectations.
  • Lead by example, cultivating a positive, inspiring and supportive kitchen environment.

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience as an Executive Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry leadership role within a luxury hotel, Michelin‐level restaurant or high‐end hospitality environment.
  • A passion for pastry innovation, artistry and flawless execution.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, train and inspire a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organisation, precision and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, costs and production targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐expectation environment while maintaining poise and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, guest‐focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business demands.
