About the role:
We’re seeking a proactive and detail‐driven Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our housekeeping operations on a permanent basis. In this hands‐on leadership role, you’ll help ensure our guest rooms and public areas are impeccably maintained, while motivating and guiding a dedicated housekeeping team. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead by example in a fast‐paced environment.
What you will do:
- Assist in the daily supervision of the housekeeping team, ensuring all rooms and public spaces meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in scheduling, training, and performance management
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure quality and consistency
- Help maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory control
- Address guest enquiries or housekeeping‐related concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with maintenance, front office, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene policies, ensuring the team follows best practices at all times
- Step in to carry out cleaning duties when required to support team efficiency and service continuity
