As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist the Chef de Partie in ownership of a specific section within the kitchen, leading and mentoring a team of Commis Chefs to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. You will play a key role in the preparation and execution of menus across multiple outlets, including: Rotunda Lounge & Bar, In‑Room Dining, Banqueting, and our new Signature restaurant, Cooper\’s Cut.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Chef de Partie to supervise a section of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation and presentation meets Four Seasons standards.
  • Train, guide, and support Commis Chefs in your section, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in the development of new dishes and contribute ideas to menu planning.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP, COSHH, and food safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and assist with inventory control.
  • Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
  • Strong foundation in fresh food preparation and a passion for high‑quality ingredients.
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and COSHH procedures.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2 or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.
