As a Commis Chef, you will support the daily preparation and service across multiple outlets, working under the guidance of experienced senior chefs. You will be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations, from mise en place to service, while learning standards, techniques, and consistency expected at Four Seasons.
Our culinary operation includes:
- Rotunda Lounge and Bar
- In Room Dining
- Cooper's Cut Steakhouse
- Banqueting and Events
Responsibilities
- Support preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in line with Four Seasons standards
- Assist senior chefs during service across assigned sections
- Maintain clean, organised, and safe workstations at all times
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures including HACCP and COSHH
- Ensure consistent quality and attention to detail in every dish
- Support stock rotation, storage, and basic inventory tasks
- Contribute positively to a respectful and collaborative kitchen culture
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or formal culinary training
- Strong interest in developing a culinary career within luxury hospitality
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 is preferred
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
- Right to Work in the UK
