Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a skilled and reliable Back of House Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically capable individual who takes pride in maintaining essential systems and supporting the smooth operation of a luxury hotel environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor pumps, valves, and expansion vessels.
- Support operation and maintenance of HVAC systems and air handling units.
- Work with the Building Management System to monitor and optimise performance.
- Maintain water systems and ensure awareness of Legionella control procedures.
- Support the operation and maintenance of laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and pressing systems.
- Monitor and manage dosing systems and associated chemicals safely.
- Identify faults, carry out repairs, and escalate issues where required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and checks.
- Support preventative maintenance programmes across back of house systems.
- Ensure all plant rooms and equipment are kept in fully functioning condition, and regular housekeeping is carried out on all units and areas.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in either Electrical or Plumbing.
- Gas Safe Certification.
- Previous experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and back of house plant equipment.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and building services.
- Awareness of water systems and safety standards.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out practical repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
