This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar).
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Events and Marketing Coordinator to support our dynamic Commercial team. The position focuses mainly on events with additional support for marketing projects and administrative work across the wider Commercial team. This role reports into the Director of Events, and will mainly support the Events team.
What You'll Do:
- Support the Events team with day to day coordination including proposal preparation, client communication, event planning documents, internal communication, and post event follow up.
- Assist with the planning and organisation of site visits, familiarisation trips, partner engagements and event related marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate data and records within Salesforce Golden Sales and Catering and Opera PMS.
- Prepare contracts, billing instructions, purchase orders and essential documentation to ensure a smooth process for clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to marketing tasks such as content gathering, basic copy support, social media scheduling coordination and tracking marketing campaigns.
- Track and analyse commercial performance metrics, including monthly scorecards and segmentation data. Assist with data-driven decisions by contributing to trend analysis and group evaluations.
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in events coordination, sales support or commercial administration ideally within luxury hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence using systems such as Salesforce, Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite, or a quick ability to learn.
- A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease.
- Clear communication skills and a polished professional manner.
- A genuine interest in events, marketing, commercial strategy and luxury hospitality.
