That’s why we are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic, and driven Assistant Learning and Development Manager to support the ongoing development of our extraordinary team. As the Assistant Learning and Development Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of training initiatives across the hotel. From onboarding new employees to developing future leaders, your role will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and excellence. You will be a recognisable face across the hotel, known for your approachable, engaging presence and commitment to supporting every department through regular face to face interaction and support.
What you will do:
- Support the Director of People & Culture in delivering the hotel’s L&D strategy
- Coordinate and deliver engaging onboarding and orientation programmes
- Facilitate in-house training sessions and compliance refreshers
- Champion Four Seasons’ core values and service standards through learning experiences
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs
- Maintain training records and support with employee development plans
- Inspire and support employees on their career journey within the Four Seasons brand
- You will be engaging and collaborative with operations teams
What you bring:
- Passionate about people development and creating exceptional employee experiences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a learning and development or training-focused role, ideally within luxury hospitality
- Confident facilitator with a warm, professional approach
- Knowledge of learning tools, systems, and frameworks (desirable)
