About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Casual Equestrian Assistant to join our dedicated equestrian team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a genuine love of horses, a strong work ethic, and a flexible approach to working hours.
What you will do
- Assisting with the daily care and handling of horses
- Mucking out stables and maintaining clean, safe yard facilities
- Feeding, grooming, and exercising horses as required
- Preparing horses and equipment for lessons or rides
- Supporting with tack cleaning and general stable maintenance
- Providing friendly, professional support to clients and riders
What you bring
- Previous experience working with horses in a yard or riding school setting
- Confident handling horses of different temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- First aid and safeguarding qualifications (desirable but not essential)
