What you will do:
- Partner closely with the Director of People and Culture to lead the day-to-day Human Resources operations and strategise people initiatives.
- Manage employee relations by providing coaching, guidance and resolution strategies to leaders and employees, including any disciplinary processes, grievances and appeals.
- Champion retention initiatives and employee engagement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Lead a committee in charge of delivering a variety of diverse and inclusive employee programming tailored to the needs of our people.
- Facilitate career development programs and succession planning.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for new starters.
- Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices and maintain accurate documentation.
- Directly lead, inspire and coach a team of 3 including a P&C Manager, P&C Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Manager.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in Human Resources leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with HRIS Workday and Fourth (Payroll) is preferred as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, etc.), Canva, DocuSign, etc.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Passion for people, culture, and creating memorable employee experiences.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred.
