Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team.

The role:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will assist the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also supervise key areas within the Finance Department, including income audit, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with all local and corporate policies and procedures. This role is integral to supporting accurate financial reporting and smooth month-end processes.

What you will do:

  • Maintain the general ledger and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Supervise income audit, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

  • Assist with month-end processes, including preparation of financial statements, accruals, and journal entries.

  • Ensure reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts are completed in established corporate formats and in accordance with GAAP.

  • Support the Assistant Director of Finance with departmental projects and audits.

  • What you bring:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a Finance Department, preferably within a hotel.

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance or a related principle.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.

  • All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK

  • Schedule and Hours:

    This is an on-site role based at our Park Lane property, working five days per week. Standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
