The role: As a Back of House Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our kitchen and back-of-house operations. You will support the Stewarding leadership team in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the pot wash and dishwashing areas, ensuring all kitchen and restaurant materials are properly maintained and hygienically cleaned.

What you will do:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the dishwasher areas.
  • Ensure all dishes, silverware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all back-of-house areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support and guide the stewarding team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Uphold and enforce the hotel’s recycling and sustainability policies.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in the maintenance of stewarding equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and effective support for all outlets and events.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-volume environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
