Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking an experienced and inspiring Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to join our leadership team. This is a significant opportunity for a proven hospitality leader to help shape the strategy, culture, and performance of one of London's most iconic luxury hotels.

The role: Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, you will play a key role in the leadership of a diverse and dynamic Food and Beverage operation, overseeing restaurants, bars, lounges, in room dining, banqueting, and stewarding. As a highly visible leader, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high performing teams, maximising commercial performance, and ensuring every guest experience reflects Four Seasons standards.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a genuine passion for people, culture, and luxury service.

What you will do:

  • Support the Director of Food and Beverage in the overall leadership and strategic direction of the division
  • Lead, coach, and develop departmental leaders across restaurants, bars, lounges, in room dining, banqueting, and stewarding
  • Drive exceptional guest experiences through operational excellence and service innovation
  • Monitor and improve financial performance through effective labour management, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
  • Build strong partnerships with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution across all meal periods and events
  • Lead performance conversations, succession planning, and talent development across the division
  • Support the planning and delivery of special events, promotions, and hotel initiatives
  • Champion health, safety, and compliance standards throughout the operation
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Deputise for the Director of Food and Beverage when required, ensuring the smooth operation of the division

What we are looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience within luxury hospitality, ideally at Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Restaurants, Director of Operations, or senior Food and Beverage management level
  • Experience leading multiple outlets within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing revenue, labour, payroll, and profitability
  • A passion for developing people and building high performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong operational knowledge across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in room dining
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with day to day operational leadership
  • A hands on leadership style aligned to Four Seasons values and the Golden Rule
  • Professional fluency in both French and English is essential to support our operations
