team, the Director of Security & Safety is responsible for protecting guests, employees, contractors, visitors, and hotel assets while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, service, and confidentiality.This role oversees all aspects of security operations, occupational health and safety, fire and life safety, emergency preparedness, business continuity, regulatory compliance, investigations, and risk management.The successful candidate will create and foster a culture of safety and accountability throughout the hotel, ensuring all employees are equipped with the knowledge, training, and resources required to maintain a safe working environment while supporting the luxury guest experience for which Four Seasons is renowned.This is a highly visible leadership role requiring exceptional judgement, discretion, presence, and experience managing complex luxury operations.What you will doLead and oversee all Security & Safety operations across the hotelEnsure the protection and wellbeing of guests, residents, employees, contractors, visitors, and hotel assetsDevelop, implement, and continuously enhance security, health and safety, fire safety, and risk management programmesCreate and maintain a proactive culture of safety awareness and risk prevention throughout the hotelLead emergency preparedness, crisis management, business continuity, and incident response planningOversee fire and life safety programmes including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, drills, and compliance activitiesConduct regular risk assessments, inspections, audits, and security reviews across guest areas, restaurants, kitchens, public spaces, and back of house operationsLead investigations relating to accidents, workplace injuries, security incidents, threats, and near missesDevelop corrective and preventative action plans to mitigate future riskOversee CCTV systems, access control systems, key control, security technologies, and monitoring proceduresEnsure compliance with all legal requirements, local regulations, and Four Seasons standardsDevelop and deliver security, health and safety, fire safety, first aid, and emergency response training programmesProvide expert guidance and support to senior leadership on all security and safety related mattersSupport VIP arrivals, high profile guests, special events, and operational risk assessmentsManage departmental budgets, labour costs, staffing levels, equipment, and operational resourcesWhat we are looking forCurrent or recent experience as a Director of Security within a luxury hotel environmentProven experience managing complex security operations involving VIPs, high net worth individuals, diplomats, and international guestsStrong knowledge of security operations, occupational health and safety, fire and life safety, emergency preparedness, and risk managementExperience leading crisis management and emergency response situationsStrong understanding of CCTV operations, access control systems, investigations, and asset protectionExperience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigationsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrong commercial awareness and operational decision making abilitiesHigh levels of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentialitySecurity Industry Authority (SIA) licenceNEBOSH Diploma, Diploma in Workplace Safety, IOSH qualification, or equivalent Health & Safety qualificationPrevious Police, Military, Government Security, Corporate Security, or Luxury Hospitality Security experience is highly advantageousExcellent spoken and written EnglishRight to Work in the UKWhat to expectFull time leadership position based on a 40 hour working
