Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Banquet Manager to join our Banqueting team. In this key leadership role, you will assist the Director of Banquets in overseeing the smooth and seamless execution of events, ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently delivered in line with Four Seasons values and procedures.

The Role:

As Assistant Banquet Manager, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the successful planning and execution of all banquet events, leading a dedicated team with energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be instrumental in ensuring that each guest experience exceeds expectations, and that our team is consistently motivated, trained, and aligned with our brand standards.

What you will do:

  • Assist in managing the Banqueting Department to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction.

  • Provide on-the-floor supervision during events, ensuring seamless service and attention to detail.

  • Build strong relationships with guests, anticipating and responding to their needs with style and grace.

  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, daily briefings, and ongoing training.

  • Coordinate closely with the Kitchen team before, during, and after service to ensure event success.

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional service, demonstrating full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to guide team members through the service steps.

  • Support in administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, and inventory as needed.

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury hotel or high-end events setting.

  • A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guest interaction.

  • A hands-on approach with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.

  • A warm and professional demeanor with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate a team.
