The Regional Director of Group Sales – Europe is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Group Sales Account Directors to drive group revenue growth across the Four Seasons global portfolio. With deep expertise in the European luxury group travel market and knowledge of the Middle Eastern group segment, the Director cultivates meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration across the broader Commercial and Sales organization, and the ability to deliver strategic insight that drives long-term business success. This leader will represent Europe in global group sales initiatives and projects, ensuring the region’s strategic priorities are reflected and advanced within the global context.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic Planning & Deployment
    • Provide strategic oversight and deployment of European WSO personnel in the group segment.
    • Develop and implement the annual Sales & Marketing Plan for the European group segment.
    • Use market insights and innovation to create forward-looking sales strategies.
    • Define group sales deployment strategies across the region.
    • Tailor sales plans to regional and national nuances across Europe.
    • Achieve European group goals and AIP targets for performance improvement.
    • Guide new, renovated, or existing properties in WSO strategy development.
    • Support launches and stabilization of new hotels with shared group sales strategies.
  • Performance Management & Goal Setting
    • Set revenue targets and Management Business Objectives for Account Directors.
    • Lead individual and team productivity through technology, motivation, and customer insight.
    • Manage performance reviews and development plans for Account Directors.
    • Conduct regular 1:1s and ensure cascading performance conversations throughout the team.
    • Lead Salesforce compliance checks and performance audits.
  • Leadership, Team Management & Collaboration
    • Lead regular team meetings across the European group sales segment.
    • Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing, and engaged team culture across geographies.
    • Align group coordinator teams to drive administrative efficiency and support.
    • Promote succession planning and talent growth within the team.
    • Represent Europe in global projects and workstreams aligned to Group Strategy.
  • Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
    • Lead European WSO support of property commercial plans and group customer events.
    • Ensure completion and delivery of strategic account plans for key customers.
    • Oversee and participate in execution of major customer activations and events.
    • Represent the European group segment externally to foster client relationships and resolve challenges.
    • Present at industry events, customer activations, and account reviews.
    • Support hotels in building engagement strategies with group clients.
  • Partner & Program Management
    • Lead European Strategic Partner Program, End User Program, and Site Selection accounts.
    • Build onboarding/offboarding strategies and grow business via key partner networks.
    • Oversee non-standard contract management to ensure legal compliance and communication.
  • Tools, Systems & Data Management
    • Drive compliance and performance through Salesforce and related WSO tools.
    • Leverage Golden Sales & Catering, Power BI, Varicent, and Sales Resource for analytics and insights.
  • Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
    • Maintain deep market awareness of competitors, key group clients, and industry peers.
    • Represent Four Seasons at a senior level in key industry groups and trade events.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience leading Group Sales Account Directors in the luxury hotel market.
  • Deep understanding of the European group market and exposure to the Middle Eastern group segment.
  • 5+ years in a leadership capacity, managing and mentoring sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing complex group sales strategies.
  • Experience working across diverse European markets.
  • Previous marketing experience is considered an asset.
