The Host/Hostess is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant. The Host/Hostess greets guests promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. Utilizing Open Table, the Host/Hostess takes reservations, reviews the daily reservation book and has the ability to seat guests without reservations. The Host/Hostess has a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is available/unavailable for that day. A principle role within the restaurant, the Host/Hostess is familiar with server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and their maximum workload capacity. The Hostess is also familiar with frequent guests and knows their names and preferences.
Flexible schedule is required and includes weekends and bank holidays.
Salary: £30,000 pa (on target earnings) - base salary £23,795 pa plus service charge, typically circa £800 per month.
You must be eligible to work in the UK according to the new Brexit Regulations.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous Experience as Host/Hostess with a Five Star Hotels and Resort.
- Proficient in verbal/written English and Good knowledge of English.
