Our client, a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the education sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to join their HR team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, supporting the delivery of a high-quality recruitment service across the organisation.
Working closely with the Resourcing Business Partner, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient end-to-end recruitment process, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of a professional, efficient and compliant recruitment service
- Source high-quality candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media and networking
- Assist in building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, from attraction through to onboarding
- Screen applications and CVs in line with role requirements and safeguarding standards (KCSIE)
- Support hiring managers with interview processes, selection methods and assessment materials
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout
- Manage interview scheduling and maintain clear communication with candidates and stakeholders
- Carry out pre-employment checks including references, DBS, right to work and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
- Provide guidance to managers on recruitment procedures and best practice
- Support recruitment events including job fairs and community engagement activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and systems
- Previous experience within recruitment, resourcing or HR administration
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail, particularly in relation to compliance and data accuracy
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience using HR systems or applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of safer recruitment practices and DBS processes is advantageous
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
