I am currently supporting a client of mine with their search for a HR Assistant. This is a busy and varied role where you will work as part of a team in a fast-paced and busy environment. In this role you will work closely with Managers and employees, providing a professional and approachable HR service.
Below is an overview of the things you will take responsibility for:
Being the first point of contact for HR queries
Providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to leavers
Maintaining accurate employee records
Preparing contracts of employment, letters and other HR documentation
Coordinating the new starter process, inductions and right-to-work checks
Supporting absence, holiday and attendance administration
Assisting with recruitment, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates
Minute taking during HR meetings and producing outcome letters
Supporting in the delivery of HR projects
Maintaining training records for employees across the business
Booking rooms and organising events and meetings
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site and office facilities
Ordering office and site supplies where required
Assisting with site access, visitor arrangements and general facilities administration
The ideal person for this role is someone that has already gained some HR experience but is keen to join a business where they will gain exposure to all areas of HR. My client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and approachable for this role.
