A leading privately owned importer and wholesaler are looking for a proven commercially minded Head of Finance to lead the finance function, provide financial leadership, and support the continued growth and profitability of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational finance expertise combined with commercial acumen and the ability to influence business decisions at Board level.

Key focuses will include:

  • Lead, manage and develop the finance team, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Provide strategic financial insight and support to the leadership team
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts and board reporting packs
  • Deliver meaningful commercial reporting and analysis to support decision-making
