We\’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Video Editor to join an award-winning communications agency.
You will have a passion for storytelling, exceptional video editing skills, a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects, and the ability to lead video post-productions from concept to completion. This role requires expertise in the full Adobe Creative Suite, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to deliver high-quality video content under tight deadlines for a diverse client base, which includes some major household brands.
You\’ll produce high-impact video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn audiences. Working closely with creatives and strategists, you\’ll blend storytelling and technical skill to craft content that drives engagement and brand love.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Editing and delivering high-quality, on-brand video content for social media, including reels, stories, YouTube videos and promos.
- Leading post-production workflows including sound design, colour grading, motion graphics and formatting.
- Optimising video content for platform-specific best practices (e.g. aspect ratios, hooks, pacing).
- Collaborating with creative teams to develop storyboards, visual styles and content strategies.
- Providing creative input during pre-production and shoot planning phases.
- Managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Staying up to date with editing trends, social media algorithms and emerging platforms.
- Mentoring midweight editors, offering feedback and guidance.
Qualifications
