I am partnering with a client of mine based in Preston in their search for a Senior HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial HR generalist who can confidently navigate complex employee relations matters, influence senior stakeholders, and help shape a positive, high-performing culture.
This isn't a role for someone who simply follows process. It's for an experienced HR professional who thrives on finding practical solutions, can confidently operate in grey areas, and enjoys being the trusted adviser that leaders turn to when the stakes are high.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering closely with senior leaders across the business, providing expert guidance
- Leading on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases
- Conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations
- Coaching and supporting Managers to confidently handle challenging people situations
- Overseeing payroll administration processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and attention to detail
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, governance and ways of working
- Supporting the development of colleagues within the HR team, sharing knowledge and experience
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record in building relationships with senior stakeholders and significant advisory level experience ideally gained in an entrepreneurially run business. Having a positive and solutions-focused approach to everything you do is also essential for this role.
