I am supporting a well-established business with their search for a HR Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity that will suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively.

As a HR Consultant, you will work closely with predominantly SME clients to provide professional, commercially focused HR support and guidance. Responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues - in some instances you will be required to lead on these and chair relevant HR meetings
  • Providing guidance on employment law and HR best practice
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Leading on TUPE related activity
  • Advising clients on workforce changes - restructuring and redundancies
  • Providing solutions to complex people related issues
  • Drafting and updating HR documentation, policies, and contracts for a variety of clients
  • Delivering training sessions for clients

My client is looking for a HR professional with a true generalist background - strong employment law knowledge is a must, as well as having led on ER cases and practical experience of guiding through TUPE and redundancy activity. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience and a pro-active and solutions focussed approach are also essentials for this role!
