A fast-growing communications agency is looking for a talented B2B Account Manager to join their team in Manchester. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in corporate communications across B2B sectors and who thrives on building strong client relationships. You'll have experience working within B2B sectors (Property, Technology, Manufacturing, Utilities) on earned media campaigns. Someone who is creative with an eye for a story and great relationships with journalists and the media.

The agency believes strongly in offering creative opportunities, so whilst the role is client services focused, you'll also be expected to put pen to paper and be involved in creative projects; whether that's writing yourself or creating detailed briefs for others to work with.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading day-to-day client relationships and ensuring projects run smoothly.
  • Creating compelling content such as whitepapers and thought leadership pieces across multiple channels – from social and digital to traditional media.
  • Managing timelines, budgets, and delivery to keep campaigns on track.
  • Supporting account growth through smart recommendations and proactive upselling.
  • Coaching and inspiring junior team members while contributing to a positive agency culture.
  • Playing an active role in business development and helping to spot new opportunities.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous agency experience in B2B communications and PR.
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Commercially minded, with experience contributing to budgeting and proposals.
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring and motivating others.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress in your career.

In return:

  • Competitive salary and bonus.
  • Great agency culture.
  • Career development and training.
