Salary: up to circa £27,000 pro rata
Our client, a well established and highly regarded organisation based in Clitheroe, is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a collaborative environment where accuracy and attention to detail are key.
You will provide an accurate, efficient and professional payroll administration service while supporting the day to day management of the HR and payroll systems across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely monthly payroll input
- Input and maintain payroll, pension and employee data across HR systems
- Process starters, leavers and employee changes
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity
- Respond to payroll and HR related queries in a timely and professional manner
- Support payroll audits and carry out regular system checks
- Ensure confidential employee information is handled with discretion at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Strong administration and organisational abilities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience of HR or payroll systems would be advantageous
- 30 hour working week over 4 or 5 days
