An exciting vacancy has arisen for an Employee Relations Advisor to join a fast-growing HR team, based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven business who pride themselves on delivering a quality service. This is a key role in supporting Managers across the business with a wide variety of HR issues.

Below is an overview of the role in more detail:

  • Being the first point of contact for Managers, providing advice on ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence issues
  • Providing clear and practical guidance over the phone and email, always ensuring compliance with company policy and employment legislation
  • Preparing documentation for cases and advising on appropriate outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records for all ER activity
  • Proactively identifying trends and working with the broader People team to reduce issues
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases as appropriate
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for Employee Relations
  • Sharing employment law updates with the wider business and People team
  • Delivering training and coaching to Managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER issues
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of ER policies, processes and tool kits

This really is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ER Advisor to add value to a business going through a huge period of growth and positive change. To be considered for this role it is essential that you have extensive ER experience and strong employment law knowledge, either gained within an in-house HR role or through working for a HR Consultancy business.

Please note this is a full-time role that offers hybrid and flexible working, but does require someone that is happy to have a presence in the office approximately 3 days per week. Please send your CV for immediate consideration.
