The Role:
Responsible for the support, administration, maintenance and development of the Company telephony, IT network, business systems and PC hardware infrastructure, including all aspects of applications, communications and data security.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrating and maintaining the network infrastructure and central servers on a day-to-day basis including hardware maintenance, cabling, communications, performance issues and data security, liaising with third- party service providers where necessary Ensuring network storage and performance levels are maintained at an optimum level Ensuring completion of daily server backups and perform periodic test restores Maintaining, supporting and developing all Company business systems supporting and developing all software ensuring legal compliance Investigating emerging technologies for business advantage and present new ideas to the Board Monitoring antivirus and firewall services reporting irregularities as required Delivering new user training for both pc and laptop users Ensuring that asset registers are maintained for all IT equipment and software Maintaining, supporting and developing business telephony systems liaising with third party service providers as required Maintaining and supporting Company data provision ensuring stability, reliability, security and performance Assisting with projects in respect to development, implementation, testing and implementation as deterred by the Board Assisting the Board with strategy, planning and putting in place contingencies Managing/Developing and documenting/flowchart all business Providing end user support in all aspects related to the Company's Systems, IT and Telephony equipment To ensure that user/business downtime is kept to minimum levels Liaising with suppliers on the purchase of all licensing, hardware and software for all aspects of the Company's IT and Telephony requirements Ensuring third party SLA's in respect to the Company's IT and Telephony services are met Ad hoc projects/tasks as determined by the Board Experience Required: Proven experience in IT Systems / Network support to include but not limited to Cyber security, backend functionality, business systems implementation, fault recovery, hardware & software, setting up user access, Windows software, Mac and Office365 operating systems, server maintenance Requirement for knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office Applications Requirement for knowledge of internet technologies Requirement for knowledge of anti-virus, anti-spam and anti-spyware software Requirement for knowledge of hardware and software firewalls Routers/Firewall Desktop Support Have an equivalent product/application qualification - Prince2, ITIL V3 Prepared to work on an individual basis but also contribute to the success of the overall team
