I am partnering exclusively with my client in their search for a HR Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant with excellent commercial awareness to join a truly values driven organisation. In this role you will be responsible for delivering expert HR advice to a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with company policy and employment law.

These are the key responsibilities:

  • Building effective working relationships with a variety of external clients
  • Supporting with the onboarding of new clients
  • Advising clients on all areas of HR policy and process, ensuring clients receive a prompt and professional response
  • Supporting with disciplinaries, grievances and investigations
  • Coaching clients through periods of change which may include workforce planning, restructuring and redundancy processes
  • Updating and rolling out new HR policies to clients
  • Delivering training to Managers on HR matters
  • Working collaboratively to share best practice and support the wider HR team

Skills / experience required:

  • Extensive HR Advisory experience – gained either in-house or working as a HR Consultant
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your style depending on the audience
  • A pro-active and solutions focussed approach
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence in influencing
