The
Role: Our client is seeking a Finance Analyst with strong data modelling expertise to own, build and maintain key financial models across budgeting, loan book performance, funding structures, scenario analysis and sensitivities.
This role is ideal for someone with advanced Excel model-building skills who enjoys working with complex financial data, translating assumptions into robust models, and providing clear analysis to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities: Own, build and maintain financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, funding analysis and loan book performance tracking.
Develop and manage budget models that support annual planning, reforecasting and management reporting.
Build and enhance loan book models, including analysis of portfolio performance, cash flows, repayments, defaults, arrears, yields and other key assumptions.
Model complex funding structures, including debt facilities, repayment waterfalls, interest calculations, covenants, drawdowns and refinancing scenarios.
Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of changes in key assumptions such as interest rates, default rates, prepayments, funding costs, growth rates and macroeconomic variables.
Translate business assumptions into clear, logical and well-structured Excel models.
