We're recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation for a Finance Assistant to provide support to a busy finance team on a temporary basis for approximately 12 weeks. This role will primarily focus on high volume invoice processing and data input, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently. Additional duties may include payment allocations, reconciliations and general finance administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Allocating payments and receipts to customer and supplier accounts
- Assisting with sales invoicing
- Supporting credit control and debt collection activities
- Posting credit card and petty cash transactions
- Performing account reconciliations and resolving queries
- Assisting with month-end reporting and analysis
- Ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained
- Supporting the wider finance team with transactional finance duties
About You:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or transactional finance role
- Strong data entry and invoice processing experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Available to start at short notice
