We're partnering with a well established company looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This role plays a key part in supporting cashflow through effective management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt and maintaining strong customer relationships. You'll be joining a collaborative finance team and working closely with stakeholders across the business, as well as external customers. While the primary focus is credit control, there will be some involvement in wider transactional finance duties, offering variety within the role. This position would suit someone with solid credit control experience who is looking for a stable, long term opportunity within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and chase outstanding debt via phone and email
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor aged debt, credit limits, and payment performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries in collaboration with internal teams
- Support cashflow management through accurate and timely collections
- Assist with month-end processes relating to the sales ledger
