A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join a growing business based in the Bootle area. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional employee support across the full employee lifecycle.
As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting managers and employees, driving recruitment activity, ensuring legal compliance, and helping to create a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Being the first point of contact for all HR-related queries across the business
- Providing practical and compliant HR advice to managers and employees
- Supporting with employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles through to onboarding new starters
- Coordinating inductions, probation reviews, and new starter compliance checks
- Preparing contracts, processing employee changes, and maintaining accurate HR records
- Supporting with payroll administration by collating employee data including overtime, sickness, starters, and leavers
- Delivering and coordinating HR training and compliance activities
- Managing HR systems and training platforms including onboarding and vetting processes
- Supporting family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, flexible working, and parental leave requests
- Working collaboratively with managers and union representatives to support business objectives
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and company policies
