A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Preston, initially on a 12 month FTC. This is a true generalist role where you will work as part of an established people team, playing a key role in shaping the people strategy, supporting managers, and delivering an excellent HR service to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with employee relations cases such as performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness absence
  • Advise Managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law
  • Produce HR reports with analysis for the Management team
  • Assist with recruitment, including job descriptions, adverts, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation
  • Work with Managers to understand training needs and create relevant content
  • Support the broader people team on a variety of HR projects

This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic and experienced HR Advisor who has strong employment law knowledge, along with excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
