Below is an overview of the key things you will take responsibility for:

  • Coordinating recruitment and onboarding for early-career programmes, including internships, graduate schemes, apprenticeships, and work placements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other talent sources to attract top talent.
  • Managing the full cycle of early-career recruitment, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and assessments centres.
  • Organising and participating in career fairs, university outreach, and other networking events.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training and onboarding programs for early-career employees.
  • Tracking and reporting on the progress of early-career employees, providing regular updates to HR and management.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for early-career employees, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive in their roles.
  • Helping to create and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that attracts and retains young talent.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous recruitment experience ideally with some early careers experience; alternatively my client is also interested to speak with candidates that have worked for apprenticeship providers / universities managing their students. Experience of facilitating assessment centres would also be beneficial for this role. Strong communication skills, being well-organised with good problem-solving skills are all essentials for this role.
