I am exclusively partnering with my client based in the Bolton area in their search for a HR Manager. This is a key appointment for them and a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to shape the people plans in a growing business that recognises the value of their people.
In this true generalist role you will drive the people strategy, with a focus on the following areas:
- Leading and managing all HR functions including talent attraction, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Coaching and upskilling Managers in relation to all areas of HR policy and process, ensuring consistency across the business
- Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with legislative changes
- Providing strategic HR support to the leadership team and contributing to long-term planning
- Championing employee engagement, well-being, and employee development programs
- Working with Managers to ensure culture and values underpin all business activities
- Supporting Managers with the creation of a training and development plan
The ideal background for this role is someone that has had some HR experience working in a growing SME; if this is in a regulated industry that would be desirable but not essential. Taking pride in doing a good job and showing passion for what you do are both key for this role, along with having a creative and pro-active approach to your role.
