Management Accountant- part qualified
Location: Bolton- hybrid working and 1/2 day study time per week
Salary: circa £35,000- £45,000 DOE
An established and fast-growing manufacturing company based in Bolton is seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support operational and strategic planning, drive performance analysis, and enhance profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report on and analyse various operational costs including materials, labour, non-conformances, and maintenance spend etc
- Perform month-end variance analysis and spend reviews
- Prepare management accounts packs- reporting on profit improvement
- Produce profit improvement reports and analysis.
- Coordinate departmental budgets and compile the business plan pack
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support with streamlining finance processes
Requirements:
- ACCA/ CIMA part qualified
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
