Job Summary
Activities Staff are responsible for creating fun, engaging experiences for guests by setting up and assisting with both free and paid activities throughout the campground.
This role focuses on guest interaction, organization, and ensuring activities run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
Staff may also be asked to wear a bear costume to meet and interact with guests in character.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, organize, and assist with campground activities and events
- Help facilitate both free and paid activities for guests of all ages
- Prepare activity areas, supplies, and equipment before events
- Explain activity rules and instructions clearly to guests
- Assist with crowd management and guest participation
- Collect payments or tickets for paid activities as needed
- Dress in a costume and interact with guests in character for meet-and-greets, photos, and special events
- Clean up activity areas and return supplies after events
- Maintain inventory of activity supplies and report low stock
- Provide friendly customer service and encourage guest engagement
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Comfortable wearing a costume and staying in character while engaging with guests
- Ability to follow schedules and activity guidelines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience working with children or events a plus
